Host Kathleen Hays looks at major economic stories of the day, and then brings us "inside" those stories. The show provides more detail and context than time usually permits in typical newscasts. Market updates are provided every ten minutes, on the 0's, at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and the top of the hour.

Each weekday, as trading gets underway, we follow the trends and themes that emerge in the trading day. Our lineups of guests include analysts, fund managers and corporate executives. The BLOOMBERG Countdown and The Final Word
Weekdays 2 pm - 5 pm ET
Bloomberg counts down to the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange each market day. Sal Giangrasso anchors from Bloomberg's world headquarters in New York, while Phil Gregory reports from the NYSE itself. Interviews with company executives, analysts and money managers provide context as the trading day draws to a close. Then, at 4PM, Giangrasso delivers “the final word” on the top business stories of the day.
